FAQ: frequently asked questions about Standable
We have compiled the most frequently asked questions and answered them for you in this FAQ. If anything is still unclear, feel free to send us your request via our Contact form.
Delivery / shipping
Delivery time
Most of our products are in stock and are delivered within 1–2 working days. In rare cases, individual items may have longer delivery times – these are indicated directly on the product page.
As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation by e-mail.
Shipping confirmation
You will receive the shipping confirmation by e-mail as soon as your order has left our warehouse. We use the e-mail address from your order for this confirmation. Delivery usually takes place on the next working day, during the day, by a carrier.
Delivery of individual orders
Delivery is to the kerbside. Scheduled deliveries and deliveries to a specific floor can be arranged separately. By default, our parcels are deposited contactless. Delivery against signature is now only made in exceptional cases.
If you expressly wish a personal handover, please let us know in advance.
You also have the option of specifying a preferred delivery day (without a fixed time).
If no preference is given, delivery usually takes place within 1–2 working days.
Delivery of large orders
Delivery is made by a carrier to the kerbside during the day (Monday – Friday).
The delivery date will be communicated to you in the shipping confirmation (e-mail).
Delivery only takes place if someone is present – against your signature. The carrier will contact you by phone if you are not on site.
In case of absence, the order will not be delivered. Redelivery takes place by arrangement. This second delivery is chargeable and will be invoiced separately (at least CHF 89.00)
Scheduled delivery
Yes, fixed delivery dates are possible – these are organised via an external carrier.
Please note the following surcharges for scheduled deliveries:
- Delivery by 9:00 am: CHF 80.–
- Delivery by 1:00 pm: CHF 50.–
- Fixed appointment: CHF 80.–
- Time window within 4 hours: CHF 50.–
- Collection at a fixed time: CHF 50.–
As standard logistics partners do not offer scheduled deliveries, a separate transport is organised for this.
Damage (delivery)
All products are packed and shipped with the greatest care.
Should transport damage nevertheless occur, please report it to us within 3 working days of receipt.
Please send us meaningful photos of the damage and of the packaging.
Unfortunately, claims cannot be considered without timely notification.

Assembly
Self-assembly
Our entire range is designed for self-assembly.
Assembly is very easy and quickly done.
You receive detailed instructions for everything.
The control unit (operating panel) has an extra-long cable so you can attach it exactly where you want.
The tabletop is attached directly to the frame with the supplied wood screws, without pre-drilling (we recommend using a cordless screwdriver). The tabletop has no holes, so you can adjust the length of the frame individually to your needs.
Our accessories are either ready to use or ready in just a few steps.

Assembly service
We offer you an uncomplicated assembly service. Our fitters know the products from A to Z and offer you an all-round service from delivery and assembly to the environmentally friendly disposal of the packaging material.
You can book the service directly during the ordering process or afterwards via our customer support.
Dismantling/conversion or disposal of existing desks is not included in the assembly service.
Yes, please make sure that the workplace offers enough space for assembly .
Important:
- The area should be freely accessible
- Furniture should not be in the way
- For conversion or disposal, desks must already be cleared beforehand
Additional services such as moving existing furniture are not included in the standard service.
If delays occur due to lack of space or insufficient preparation, additional costs may arise.
Tabletops
Size
Depending on the model, our desks are available in various sizes and versions.
If the tabletop sizes offered do not meet your expectations or you would like to use your own tabletop, that's no problem: our frames are flexible and compatible with most standard tabletops.
Our tabletops are 2.5 cm thick and weigh approx. 15–32 kg depending on size. They stand for high-quality workmanship and stable use in everyday work.
We will be happy to advise you personally on choosing the right size or on using your own tabletop.
Material
So that you can enjoy your standing desk for many years, our tabletops are made of FSC-certified MFC wood (origin: EU) with a thickness of 2.5 cm. Compared to conventional tabletops, our standing desks are considerably thicker and therefore more robust.
The colours are applied using a special printing process and additionally coated with melamine. The edges are rounded plastic in the same colour as the tabletop. Both sides are finished to the same high quality.
The tabletops stay beautiful for years and also forgive intensive use. Cleaning is done with a damp cloth.
The tabletop has no pre-drilled holes, so you have full flexibility during assembly. The matching screws are of course included.
Table frame
Specification
The load capacities of our table frames are:
- DESK 120kg
- L-SHAPE 160kg
- KIDS 100kg
- MEETING 160kg
The drive is a continuously adjustable motor (each table leg has its own motor).
Delivery is in disassembled form. The frame is set up with a simple assembly.
Can be ordered separately
All our table frames can be ordered separately in the colours grey / white / black.
We will be happy to advise you whether your tabletop is suitable.
