FAQ: Frequently asked questions about Standable

We have compiled the most frequently asked questions and answered them for you in this FAQ. If you still have any questions, you are welcome to send us your request using our contact form.

Delivery / Shipping

Most of our products are in stock and are shipped within 1–2 business days. In rare cases, delivery times for certain items may be longer—these are listed directly on each product page.

As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email.

You will receive the shipping confirmation by e-mail as soon as your order has left our warehouse. We use the e-mail address of your order for the confirmation. Delivery usually takes place the next working day during the course of the day with a shipping company.

How will my order be delivered?

By default, our packages are delivered contact-free. Delivery requiring a signature is now only available in exceptional cases.
If you specifically request in-person delivery, please let us know in advance.

You also have the option to specify a preferred delivery date (without a specific time).
If no preference is specified, delivery usually takes place within 1–2 business days.

Delivery is made by a forwarding company to the kerbside during the day (Monday - Friday). 

You will be notified of the delivery date by shipping confirmation (e-mail).

Delivery will only be made if you are present - against your signature. The forwarding agent will contact you by telephone if you are not on site.

In case of absence, the order will not be delivered. The second delivery will be made by arrangement. This second delivery is subject to a charge and will be invoiced separately (minimum CHF 89.00).

Yes, fixed delivery dates are possible—these are arranged through an external shipping company.

Please note the following surcharges for scheduled deliveries:

  • Delivery by 9:00 a.m.: CHF
  • Delivery by 1:00 p.m.: CHF
  • Fixed price: CHF
  • 4-hour time slot: CHF
  • Pickup on a scheduled date: CHF

Since standard logistics partners do not offer scheduled deliveries, a separate shipment will be arranged for this purpose.

All products are packaged and shipped with the utmost care.

If, however, any damage occurs during shipping, please notify us within 3 business days of receipt.

Please send us clear photos of the damage and the packaging.

Unfortunately, complaints cannot be considered if they are not reported in a timely manner.

Mounting

Our entire range is designed for self-assembly.

The assembly is very simple and quickly done.

You will receive detailed instructions for everything.

The control unit (operating element) has an extra-long cable so that you can position it exactly where you want it.

The table top is attached directly to the frame with and the supplied wood screws without pre-drilling (we recommend using a cordless screwdriver). The top has no holes so you can customize the length of the frame to your needs.

Our accessories are either ready-to-use or ready to use in just a few steps.

Our customer support will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.

We offer you an uncomplicated assembly service. Our fitters know the products from A to Z and offer you an all-round service from delivery and assembly to environmentally friendly disposal of the packaging material.

You can book the service directly during the order or afterwards via our customer support.

Dismantling/conversion or disposal of existing tables is not included in the installation service.

Yes, please make sure there is enough space at the workstation for assembly.

Important:

  • The area should be freely accessible
  • Furniture shouldn't be in the way
  • Tables must be cleared of all items before renovation or disposal

Additional services, such as moving existing furniture, are not included in the standard service.
If delays occur due to lack of space or inadequate preparation, additional costs may apply.

Table tops

Our desks are available in various sizes and styles, depending on the model.

If the available tabletop sizes don't meet your needs, or if you'd prefer to use your own tabletop, that's no problem: Our frames are versatile and compatible with most standard tabletops.

Our tabletops are 2.5 cm thick and weigh approximately 15–32 kg, depending on their size. They are built to last and are designed for heavy-duty use in everyday work environments.

We would be happy to assist you personally in choosing the right size or in using your own tabletop.

To ensure that you can enjoy your bar table for many years to come, our table tops are made from FSC-certified MFC wood (EU origin) with a thickness of 2.5 cm. Compared to conventional table tops, our bar tables are much thicker and therefore more robust.

The colors are applied in a special printing process and additionally coated with melamine. The edges are made of plastic rounded in the same color as the plate. Both sides are processed in the same high quality.

The plates remain beautiful for years and forgive even intensive work. Cleaning is done with a damp cloth.

The plate has no pre-drilled hole, so you have full flexibility in the assembly. The matching screws are of course included.

Table frame

The load capacity of our table frames is:

  • DESK 120kg
  • L-SHAPE 160kg
  • KIDS 100kg
  • MEETING 160kg

It is driven by a continuously adjustable motor (each table leg is equipped with its own motor).

The delivery is disassembled. With a simple assembly, the rack is built.

All our table bases can be ordered individually in the colors gray / white / black.

We will be happy to advise you whether your tabletop is suitable.
